B-303 cam ???

Does anyone know what this cam can rev too with my mods? Is it gunna be mostly high end power ? Ive read people almost taking it up to 7 Grand and it still wants to pull!

the b cam is not a very high lift cam, nor is it a great high performance cam. its more of an every day street cam than a good race cam.

I had it in my last car, 82 Capri RS. Ported E7s, RPM. 650 DP, Top Loader 4 speed, 3:27 It pulled good to about 5500. I had the rev limiter at 6200 and I had it up that high once but it wasn't pulling anymore. As stang racer said its a decent street cam, but there is better from comp and crane now.

Hows about some help here, like your mods? The b-cam is ok, but far from the best. If you are plannin on serious power, the only way to go is a custom grind, though they are quite pricey.

I took this from Stangnet.com:

Small Ford: 1985-95 302 (with roller tappet cam), 1994-95 351W (with factory roller cam when used with mass air EFI), 284/284 degrees duration, hydraulic roller camshaft

Advertised duration: 284 intake/284 exhaust
Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 224 intake/224 exhaust
Gross valve lift: .480 in. intake/.480 in. exhaust
Lobe separation: 107 degrees intake/117 degrees exhaust
Peak horsepower rpm: 5,100
Peak torque rpm: 3,300

Performance camshafts just for Fords

Those Motorsport guys live, eat, and sleep Ford. This camshaft has great low-end torque, and lots of horsepower above 4,000 rpm.

Maybe this will help.
