GT-40X heads
I heard "in theory" that these heads will not pass the sniffer. Anyone manage to get them to pass? I plan to use these heads, but I don't want to go emissions exempt if I don't have to, because then I'll only be allowed by the state to drive my car under 5,000 miles a year. Thanx!

ive never heard that about the x heads. what to worry about with emissions though, is the state of tune the motor is in. you can have a "clean" cam and heads and have a shitty tune on the motor and have it fail, and you can have non emissions parts pass if you get the tune up right. i would worry about emissions with the cam you choose, not the heads. i replied to your other post about the cam, dont forget to mention that you want to pass emissions when you talk to cam tech guys. once again, good luck
