non egr explorer intake

I am probably going to buy an explorer intake but the guy says it is non egr. and as we all know i probably need egr to pass emissions.

here are a couple pictures

this is what the guy told me:

"Normal intakes run the EGR passage under the intake. Take a look at the second pic in the zip file. The lip below the intake opening is where most EGR passages were run." Also, if you will look at the gaskets in 933 and then the lower in 931, you will see where the EGR passage is supposed to be on a normal gt-40/Cobra intake

I dont know if maybe there is some way i could still run it or not...

Thanks!

You might be able to drill the lower, but there's not much chance of making the upper work as the passage is cast in. I'd sell/trade that one for the early 97 or 96 Explorer intake with the passages. I'm in the process of putting one on my car now.
