Does this sound like a good deal?
Sounds good to me, but if you remember i was complaining about my clutch http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif, it feels sloppy, and it's making a "clicking" howling noise on acceleration, and decell, so i went to a local hotrod shop and bought the fms part# m-7560-a302 got a decent deal (considering ford dealer wants an arm and a leg).
I asked him if they could do the work, he said they were booked until jul 4th, but could set me up after the 5th, he said the clutch job is about a 4 hr job, 60$ an hour labor 240$? thats after i bought the clutch, wich i have it now, then i asked him about a steeda quadrant (3 piece) he said he would install the whole thing with the clutch for 260$ thats half hour labor on quadrant adjuster, plus it's like getting the quadrnt free http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif should i fork out the cash and have it done? thnx, i usually do things myself, but i dont feel like laying under my car on a gravel driveway in the hot sun this time thnx again for a reply... ------------------ 90 lx coupe: 175k miles, steeda water pump pully, hurst shifter, Mac cold air fenderwell, accel supercoil, ADS chip, aluminum D/S, Black magic fan, 3.27grs. That's a very fair price, especially if you aren't in the mood to do some tranny wrestling! Do it.

I'd do it too. I had the Steeda Quadrant put in my car from a Ford dealer and it ran me $150. So for $20-30 to have them put it in, I'd definately do it. I didn't feel like doing mine in a gravel driveway either.
