Trick Flow Stage 1 cam?
What are the specs on the Stage 1 cam? Are there any other cams I should consider, I plan on ruinning a Track Heat intake, BBK longtubes, C&L 76mm Mass Air, 3.73 gears and eventually a set of TFS or AFR 185 heads, but stock for now. Also, what size roller rockers will clear the stock pistons?

I liked my stage 1 and it made good power (the specs off the top of my head are) 498 510 and 220 224 it sounded awsome and ran good (pulled to 6200) and it loved the blower.

great cam and cant beat the price either, .499/.510 221/225 not sure what the LSA is though.

Any idea of the Stage 2 cam specs and if it would be any better?
|
Stage 2 is big and won't work with a stock shortblock it is something like
542 563 224/236 |
I think I'll just go with the stage 1, any others I should consider before I buy one (Steeda/Crane/CompCams/etc)?

I loved my stage 1 and looking back I should have kept it. I sold it planning on putting in a AFM B41 but it is to big for a stock shortblock so I will hang on to it tell the R based motor is done. I am leaning torwards a F303 in the mean time.

Anyone use the Anderson Ford N-412 or N-41 cam? These are a little more expensive, would they be of any benifit over the TFS 1 cam for my future setup?
|
I just put one in a few weeks ago to replace the Lunati. I like it a lot. Pulls well and idles at 650-700 rpm

I personally think a cam swap is a waste of effort and money until you have heads also...but that's just my 0.02 |

Its a pretty mean idling cam, and its on a 112 LSA. I like it since it pulls from 2,500 to 6,500 without a problem. Keep in mind I'm running it in a carb'd car so I don't know how the EFI system would respond to it. |
