Help, you guys asked for it, so at the top of my head this is what is on this car, take for granted i just got this car up and running sunday.


Engine- 1990 RHO 5.0 302, Mass air.
Tranny- Summit high performance automatic over drive.
Rear end- 8.8 3.73 Gears posi
K&N air filter, Under pulleys, Clutch fan, Fuel managing system. And thats all i can think of right now. If i think of any thing else i will add it, Remember this is just my motor to get me by, my real motor is in the shop waiting for me to finish it. :)

what is a RHO?

And what type of fuel managment system do you have?

The r stands for rebuild it has 285 stock instead of normal stock.
I'll have to look and remember the fuel managment system.

How does it have a extra 60hp with stock heads, intake, etc???? I mean really dude, come on

Sorry dude, it's a stock 225hp motor.

Why in the hell do you have a fuel managment system on a stock car for? Those things cost a ass load. Or are you calling the ECM a fuel managment system.

Thanks for calling my a liar, i can feel the warmth deep in side the R stands for rebuild, meaning they put a hotter cam pistions and such in it. Yep, so its BETTER than just an HO motor. Gee... nothing like being called a liar... thanks again.

Ok, so you've got hotter pistons (I'll assume that means you've got high compression) and you've got a hotter cam. So what?

Cams have very little effect on a stock motor. The stock heads just don't flow well enough in stock form to warrent the extra lift and duration of a aftermarket cam. Often times there is virtully no difference at the track, because the cam pushes the power band up beyond the flow capabilties of the stock E7TE heads.

I can see from the pictures that you posted that your motor still has the stock intake, and apparently the stock heads. Yet you claim to be making a whole 60 more horsepower than stock? The 93 Cobra was rated at 245hp, but in all reality pushed around 255-265 hp. 265hp thanks to the addition of the much better flowing GT-40 head, cobra intake, larger TB and MAF, a different cam, and 1.7 lift roller rockers. Yet you claim 285hp with stock heads, intake, rockers, etc?

The motor in my hatch probably only pushes about 300 and that's with all my mods (see sig)

Okay I did a little research on the RHO and here's what I came up with. It came with a b-303 cam instead of a stock cam and they also did some porting to the exhaust side of the stock heads. The one they dyno'd came in at 244hp and 296lbs-ft or torque at the flywheel. Of course results will very depending on the intake and exhaust set up. That was a carb set up that they dyno'd.

How built is the transmission???? What converter?
No offense but we can already tell by your commits and such that you need to stop talking the talk and start learning how to build a set-up.
Look a LOT of us are street racers!!!! Or used to be's!!!:D For someone whos claims to have 300-400 horsepower, your pretty secretive! Please give it up, your only making yourself look even worse with every post you make. Just come clean NOW before it's to late and we will show you how to make a REAL 300-400 horsepower.

P.S the only reason why your in the defense mode and everyone here on the offensive because you came on here a bit cocky with your 300-400 horswpower with out really knowing the "Automotive Lango" then not even know what your parts are even called!!! And then on top of all that ...it's all a secret!!! Please..
Just come clean & I am sure everyone will help you out. You know that saying....."Can't bull-shit a bull-shiter"....

Yea, I will be upset if I have basically the same engine as him but I have all the goodies to go with it (heads, intake, rr's, maf, tb, etc.) and he makes more power than me. I know when I first started adding stuff to my car, I thought it made way more power than it did. Heck, I just read all the magazine ads and figured my parts were good for 350 HP :D. Well, that is not the way it works. Sound like PowerslideGT may be in the same boat as me 6 years ago.

PowerslideGT - If you are new to all of this, then just take a step back and try to learn from the guys on this board. There is a lot of knowledge here and I am sure most of us were once in your shoes.
