Help me decide !!
 

I can’t decide what blower to get for my 351W, I want to keep all emissions and PS my two choices are:

1) Vortech S or T trim from Alternative Auto who make the necessary brackets for a 351W (T-trim price about $3,300 w/o aftercooler)

2) ATI P1SC or D1SC major bracket modification required to fit 351W.
(D1SC, with sheet metal intercooler, and BTM $4,000)


I am leaning toward the Vortech S or T because I only want 8-10 psi and price is a factor.

If you only want 8-10 psi why not just get a a trim vortech? wouldn't that save a lot of money? or are you planning on more boost down the road? If the choice was between the two you listed then i'd go with the vortech t trim, just because they're bad *** blowers. What kind of compression are you running, because if you're running less than 9 to one then you won't have to worry about detonation as much, and that would make an intercooler/aftercooler less necessary, which would lean you toward the vortech, because the prochargers come intercooled right? i'm not sure about that. but that's just my .02
