GT Door Moldings don't stay on...

I had my 89 GT repainted not too long ago... things were great for about 8 months and then the door moldings peeled off... is there anything that anyone has done or knows how to do to correct this and keep it from happening again... It has really taken away from the look of my car.

3M Double sided adhesive tape. That's what I used and it works just fine.

Just ask the bodyshop what they use. Its usually pretty good stuff.

The stuff from the bodyshop is the crap that wouldn't stick...I'll try the 3M double sided... thanks for the posts:D

Take the moldings off, clean the area your going to be placing the 3M tape, use a mild degreaser and remove any wax or film left behind then do the same with the inside of your molding, place the tape on and use some rubber clamps to hold the molding in place if you have to and let sit, you should have nice looking results.

Got to Rice Haters Club and check it out. If you like it, go to the "Tell us about yourself" forum and do that.
