stupid question

Am I crazy or does my 88 GT not have a "check engine" light?

Stupid answer

Yes your 88 GT DOES have a check engine light. Turn the key on, and you should see it light up for the bulb test. If you don't see it, someone has either removed the bulb, or it's burned out. Guaranteed you have a light though.

I look for it at start up, is it up in the guage cluster or down where the "check oil" & low gas lights are?
Thanks, I can't belive I can't find it,... but I can't

none of my lights work there. Do you have to take the cluster off to change the bulbs?

Step #1. CHECK FUSES!!!

Never tought to check this before. I know it's dumb

I have a 88 gt and i had to remove the instrument cluster to change a blowed bulb. I notice there was no bulb in the Check oil and Check engine. Check oil is not very usefull because on the 88 there's another place to check it but i'm surprised that the check engine wasn't there.

The board connector was so clean that it look like it was missed from the plant. Anyone have already saw this?

I've installed one then no code. haaaaa i'm breathing
