I bought my 1st stang..and it won't start!!!
 

I just bought my very first stang yesterday...(89 5.0 notchback)

I drove it today and had no problems starting it or driving it whatsoever..

The thing is..I parked it for 2 hours..and then tried to start it again..the interior guages and lights turned on..but the engine didn't even START to crank..nothin'!

The check engine light and check oil light came on...

I'm worried that my battery or starter is screwed up...(but it worked fine a few hours ago!!)

(I dunno, but I was partly installing my car amplifier kit yesterday...and I hooked up ONLY the power wire..(ran it off the battery) and just left it connected to nothing..)

so..that pretty much means..I have this 4 guage power amp wire running from my battery to nothing...(could that be why my battery is dead???)

(I have left my amp kit power wire runnin off the battery overnight..)

Well just try getting a jump and you'll know if its your battery, if that doesnt work and you think it the starter just try to start while someone taps on the starter sometimes they get stuck.

nevermind..haha.i found the problem..

one of the wires disconnected from the celenoid...haha..I THOUGHT I BLEW MY DAMN STARTER!! WHEW!!!
