question

Is there a difference between a 4.6 eng harness and a cobra. Thinking about doing a 351 and trying to find out if the wiring arnss will need to be changed. Any help will be great thanks in advance.

What year Cobra? If you are thinking about the Windsor based 351, there a big difference in the wiring harnesses due to different ignitions (coil pack vs. ditributor) and other sensors. Plus the 4.6's use the EEC-5 computer where as the Windsor models (302 & 351) used the EEC-4.

I think the fellow that is selling his cobra said it is a 96. I am asking because i really want to build up a 351that is fuel injected and would like to find out as much as i can about the wairing harness. I already have a built 351 carb but would like to try my hand a injection project. Any help would be of great assistance.
Thank in advance Ant

If you are going to put the 351 in the 96, you mught be better off going with an aftermarket injection system like the SDS system from Western Motorsports. ( www.wmsracing.com ).
