ALOT OF BROKEN T-5's...Time for Tremec group purchase??

I see alot of broken T-5's here and I could use one myself. Can anyone put together a group purchase on T-5Z's or Tremecs?

How about a Lentech AOD group purchase? That'd really cure the problem! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

Forget the T5s and Tremecs already!! Go with a built AOD or C4.

Count me in. Email me if you can get anything together.

Depends how much the price would come down, keep me posted. Oh yeah, I'd rather rebuild my T5 once a month than switch to an auto!

Sorry, I don't know how to put one together. Some one who is stateside would have to do it. I just thought I would throw the idea out and hope that someone who knew what to do would bite. How does it work? Do I just call around and ask about buying a bunch of trannies and ask what kind of price I could get? Any recommendations on who I should call?

The only reason I didn't go to a Tremec the last time around was $$$$ to convert. I would have to get another SFI approved bellhousing to fit the Tremec, SFI approved Clutch to fit the Tremec, and a new Shifter. I think a lot of guys think it is as simple as just swapping trannies but it's not and when you have invested all the money in the saftey equipment needed for the T-5, and can rebuild them your self..it is cheaper to stay T-5, until you go to a Lentech like Jeff!

Persoanlly I'll stay with the T-5 for now, but if it keeps failing especially after the Turbo is installed http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif then I will look at another set-up, most likely a Tremec race prepped by Hanlon, his lasts all season with out a tear down, that is awesome! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
