When did ford change the shade of grey 5.O's interiors?
 

Hey guys, when did Ford change the shade of grey 5.O interiors? I have a center colsole/ash tray piece from the junk yard. It turns out its a lighter grey than my '89 5.O's. What year(s) do I need to be looking out for to find the matching shade of grey?

maybe u should try to find the same year 5.0 as your own but all i know is the years that correspond with the color of carpet.

1979-81 med gray, dark gray, charcoal
1985-86 light gray
1984-86 dark gray, svo gray
1987-89 smoke gray
1990-92 titanium gray

Does someone know in which year the door panel with pockets appeared. I've two on my car.

Driver side is titanium and from a lx 1992
Passenger side is grey as my 1988 factory interior. I got this one on ebay and i don't remember the exact year.

I want to find the correct one for the driver side too but it's look like rare. I think it's from a 1990 but i'm really not sure.

Thank you. I think you are right. It would make sense if they changed the plastic color to match the change of the carpet color.

If I am not mistaken, the door pockets started in 90.
