Intake question??

Hey, with the following mods what would be the best intake for a 94 gt out of gt-40, edelbrock or holley? Underdrives, comlepete mac exhaust, Mac cold air induction, jet chip and 3:73 gears. Second question is, do i need to buy a different hood??? Thanks..

Well...first off check the chip at the door..you don't need it..oops I forgot on the AODE's you need that for different gears. I'd go with either the GT-40, or the Ebok personally they rate the same, but the E-bok has a bit more high Rpm potential...You will most likely not need a new hood, I had the E-bok performer, and it fit under my stock 92 hood with no problems.

Go with the Edelbrock intake. It is better than the GT-40. I have only heard good about the Holley but never have known anyone to run it. No, you won't have to buy a new hood.

I think that the Cobra intake for what you have listed as mods would be my prefered intake. It just has the bottom end and the topside that a nat asp requires. If that isnot something you'd be into check out the Holley my buddies 91 notch is using the System max 2 setup and is quite happy with the performance. Good luck and let us know what you decided on.
