bassani x pipe I just put a bassani x pipe with catalytic converters on my 93 Ford Mustang. The car now knocks and pings during acceleration and on hills. The rest of the exhaust system is stock. I replaced the Oxygen sensors at the time of installation and the timing is set at the stock 10 degrees. The fuel pump is stock but only about a month old. Has any one else out there had this problem? If I unplug the battery to reset the computer how long should it be disconnected? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanx |

You shouldn't have to reset the computer when you changed the O2 sensors and the x-pipe. I have the same pipe as you on a 94 mustang gt and didn't have any problems with pinging after the installation. Are you using high octane fuel? |

I don't think the X-pipe could do that but when installing it you may of mess some thing on the engine may be the O2 sensors are not working?
