What is an 87-93 Junk GT worth?
 

im not sure exactly what year it is but i was told the only thing wrong with it was it caught fire under the dash and melted it.
i drove by and checked it out tonight after work but it was to dark to tell much but it has a decent looking set of Weld Drag lites on it and plenty other descent looking body parts and the rearend was there. I dont know if it is manual or automatic. looks like the complete exhaust in still there. I'm only in it for parts to do a swap so Im not wanting to make that car run or anything. I was told that dude wants $700 so he can go buy some drugs or something. This is the same guy that traded a 94 GT with a recent rebuild for an 8 ball of cocaine. Do you think its worth trying to buy?????

If he traded a 94 for a ball, why dont you just trade him a line? Sounds about fair, he'll have nothing in a day anyways, and you'll be saving him some brain damage. :D

I would get a look at it in the light first. If you do end up buying it, I would have it looked over. The bag of coke stuffed under the dash is probably what started the fire.

Thanks, but for real a guy i went to school with already talked to them about the car and apparently he wanted 700 b.c thats how much weed he was going to go buy. I don't have anything to do with drugs nor the connections i used to so i couldnt just go get a line to trade for it. I just woke up and I'm going to go check it out right now. I snap some shots alright.

its the biggest shit pile ive ever seen. the only piece of interior was the carpet. its an automatic and it doesnt have drag lites i thought it did but they're not, they're more like a truck wheel. the engine is in his garage in pieces and it looked like it was a roller paint job. the only thing interesting about it was that it had t-tops. ive never seen a 87-93 with t-tops. i know a guy that has a 83 with t's though. but anyway one of the t's was busted the guy said that it happened on halloween so he took the other one out and put it in his house so it didnt get busted. he had the hood torn off and laying over the roof to prevent those pesky halloweeners. but all in all the only thing i was really interested in was the rearend since it was an automatic. but if anyone else is interested in it, it has a new computer in it and he said he has everything to put it back togetherbut i dont think he knows what he needs to put it back together.

T-tops, eh? Hmm, interesting...discontinued after early '88. Not that great, though, as they cut down on structural integrity.
