got harness and mass air meter, which computer?
i've recently purchased a wiring harness and a pro-M meter to switch over to mass air but i need to know whether to get a computer out of a manual or automatic car, i've heard from this site that the auto computer pulls less timing out and therefore is better, but a tranny tech at my work (ford dealer) said that the older ones dont pull timing out and said definately to go with a manual computer because of something like a dashpot (spelling) not sure at all what it is but thats what he said, i'll be doing this swap at the same time as my T-5 conversion if that helps at all, thanks everyone
