Wats up guys, once again i need some help! Last night i was driving, stopped at gas station and put gas in ($15) worth, left and at the stop light i flored it through 1st and 2nd and then i let go, i came to a complete stop at the next red light......My car just shuts off on me!!!! At first the everything in the car turned off inside the car as the car was stauling. i thought it was my electrical, so i pushed it out of the way and tryed to turn it on again, it cranked but didnt start. I listened for the sound the pump makes right before i usauly turn on my car and i didnt here it anymore??? Could that be it? I'm bout 80% sure it is but i need your guys opinion first!!!

i just looked at some pumps on summit and they have a BBK 255 lph. i think stock pumps where 88-95 lph. if i buy the 255 lph will it mess with my stock engine or would it still work???

Get the 255lph. All the extra fuel just goes back into the tank through the return line.

I got a 190lph and now wish I would have gotten the 255lph now that I am going with a supercharger.

Heres The Thing, I Checked My Car In The Morning Turned The Key Before Turning It On And I Heard The Pump Engage.... Turned The Key All The Way And My Car Turned On!! I Left It On For A While. I Checked Under The Hood And I Was Surprised At What I Saw.....! On The Power Steering Dipstick And The Top Of The Cap Was Filled With Power Steering Fluid, Then I Noticed That Right Next To It Was The Electrical Coil...that Made Sense Because When My Car Stauled Everything Shut Off! But How Would The Steering Fluid Get All Over Around The Coil Wires???? S$#t!!!!!!! IT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!

Hmmmm... I see some work ahead! Hey at least you have the problem narrowed down as odd as it may be!

Maybe it sprays out under pressure from a crack in the line or fitting?

well i thought i saw a breathing hole on the dip stick plug, maybe it shot out of there! I wonder why?

Either that, or the system is TOO FULL. Fords are notorious for "whining" when the system is operating correctly, at proper levels.

Might be as simple as that!

Next thing to check, fire that mother up. Have someone sit in the car and turn the wheel lock to lock, while YOU stand out front and see just exactly what's going on out there.....

if you still have stock fuel pump -I would upgrade depending on your mileage. _I upgraded miine when _I hit around 135,000 km just in case. _I went with the holley fuel pump and am happy with it
