need an alternator bracket and tensioner
 

i have an 84 gt and i need an alternator bracket and tensioner but ford has discontinued the bracket does anyone have one for cheap

We may be able to help you with the alt bracket. We've got an 88GT we're parting out. Don't have the tensioner though, I checked my local CarQuest and they said they could order one. YOu may be able to hit the ole junk yard as well.

Let me ask my son to see if we've got the alt bracket, stay tuned.

Yep! There's a pic of it on another thread in here, lemme go see if I can find it....

It's just a pic of the tensioner, but the alt bracket is there too. It mounts the alt right in front of the passenger's side valve cover.
