Squeaky Squeaky from my new T-5 set up
I had my AOD swapped out for a T-5. After a bit of driving I am getting a constant squeak from some where down there. It makes the noise when the clutch pedal is out and in gear moving or not. As soon as I put a bit of pressure on the clutch the noise stops. Any Idea? Is this something I can fix or do I need to bring it back to the guy that did the swap?

It's your throwout bearing. These cars are notorious for it. I've had every Clutch I've ever put in do it at one time or another. It is annoying so just cut your tailpipes off and you wont notice it. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif Seriously though, you can change it but it usually comes back within a few months. I would just deal with it if I were you.

It could also be your input shaft bearing retainer. Mine was broken by a mechanic who's specialty was clutches, yeah, right! Otherwise, I've never had a problem with the throwout bearing, although it's definately related to that system somehow.
