swapping maf electronic's question..

could I use electronics off a 77mm pro-m, and put it on my 75mm bullet?
I need electronics for 24's, which the 77mm has, but the filter suffered a nos backfire, so i dont want to use the whole meter, but the electronics are good.
My 75mm bullet has stock electronics, which wont work when i get my 24's.

So will the 2mm difference throw off the readings? or are the electronics cal'd for injector size only? hope this makes sense....
also, im trying to retain my fenderwell cai.

I cant buy a whole new maf at the moment.
Any suggestions? thnx

I can't say for sure...
But I doubt you will be happy with it.

Wait until you can get the right parts.
One WOT run with a MAF that makes you run lean, will destroy all the cost savings of reusing that sensor.
Also, were both of these meters originally cal'd for your car?

Thanx alot, I'll probaly end up using the flanged 77 pro-m, and try and get a filter.

They were not "cal'd for "my car", but came off another foxbody with an a9l like mine, and the 24's were matched to the maf.

Another question vristang, what exactly happens, running a maf cal'd for 24's, but running 19lb injectors? will it go lean and hurt something? I did this, and drove it a couple miles, of course it bucked, and actually ran rich down low......Im embarassed about that, but oh well, thats behind me now, just hope i didnt burn anything up...

It is hard to say what will happen to the AFR, but most likely you were running lean.

Probably dangerously lean at WOT.
