How To Remove Smog Pump???

My Pump Is Out Of Comission, So I Thought I Would Remove It To Save Some Weight Until I Can Afford A New One.

How Long & What Do I Need To Remove It???

Thanks

You'll have to buy a smog delete kit in order to run the serpentine belt w/out the pump. The kit costs more than a new pump, and the pump doesn't weigh that much anyway, I'd just replace the pump.

just get a shorter belt and bypass the air pump. it doesnt do much for power but if you dont have cats eliminate it anyway because it is doing no good. dont waste your money on a smog pump delete kit, use a shorter belt. hope it helps.
