Power Windows
 

I am having problems I just bought a 1990 lx 5.0 conv and the power windows are all giving me a hard time. The back left window won't aline with the frone driver window to make a good seal is there any body that can shae some info. Thanks Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lance

I have a problem with mine too, my motor needs replacing. On the aligning thing.. do you put the back window up first? If not, try that. Even the cobra vert I had wouldn't align up perfectly ever time, unless you put the back window up first.

Also, try putting the top down and then putting up the back window. You may need to help it up, if its getting worn out. Back windows rub on the rubber from the convertible top and eventually need replacing. I almost never put the back windows down while the top is up and vise versa. I put them almost completely up before I put the top back up, then finish putting them up.

Try opening the door when you put the front window up and then close and see if its a good fit then(back windows should be up).

not sure how the rear windows align, but to get the front straightened out, remove the door panel and the plastic, and adjust the stops in the door, the glass has little metal "hooks" that slide into the brackets when the window goes up...sometimes they loosen up and need to be reset. i think there are three of them?
