Brake cleaner ok on T.P.S.?

Can I use brake cleaner to clean my throttle body or is it bad to get it on the T.P.S. I don't think I can loosen the T.P.S screws,.. it's reading fine anyways.

Your TPS is an electrical switch that works by having a set source voltage applied to a rheostat that sends a return volatage based on it's position. It is never a good idea to get an electrical switch wet. You should remove the TB and the TPS before cleaning the TB.

Take care
