Talk about learning as you go! Holy Cr@p.

I just finished changing out the front springs on my pony and i'll tell ya what. I tried going the route that the chilton's says and it kicked my but. I highly suggest you just drop the two bolts from the rear of the lower control arm and even then good luck.
Anyways just thought i'd vent a little.
Thanks everyone!
Mike

When I did mine I just removed the end links and the struts and used a big pry bar and popped them right out. The first side took me about an hour and a half, the other side took 45 minutes. But, I used a forklift to lift the car and used a jack under the control arm. This worked great http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
