Movement of rear wheels while on jackstands?

I had my car in the air today putting on my Alum D/S and while rotating the wheels, I noticed that they are difficult to turn... Any ideas? I can move the wheels with one hand, but by no means can I spin the wheels while the car is on jackstands. Should these move more freely?

Thanks.

OK, Thanks. I've been fixing this car up with 132,000 miles and after it sat for a year and a half. It has a Turbo Coupe Disk rear end in it and just seemed a little stiff. I've had to replace the front wheel bearing, just thought the rears might need it to being so stiff.....
