What is your combo and how is it working for you?

Currently I'm running a 351w with stage II TFS twisted wedges, 11.5:1 compression Ross Pistons, Eagle rods, Victor Jr. Intake port matched to heads, Holley HP 750 carb, hydraulic roller custom ground by crane, 1 3/4 longtubes into 3" h-pipe and 1 chamber flowmasters

I have this in an 87 mustang weighing 3100lbs with a dynamic C4, 3500 stall on motor, 4500 or so on the NOS and 4.10 gears

It has ran a best of 11.65@120 on motor and 10.30@130 on a 200 shot of NOS.

I can run a 125 shot on pump gas with octane boost and run 10.80's all day long. As soon as I get the transbrake hooked up and working and install the solid roller, I'm shooting for low 11's possibly high 10's on the motor and some solid 9 second runs on the bottle. That's the plan for next spring.

I switched to carb about 5 years ago after having my computer fry and after all of the other problems gave it a shot and instantly picked up alot of power and easy tuning. Same with my conversion from a T5 to a C4. After many broken 5 speeds i'll never go back. This C4 performs flawlessly and consistently every time. I was worried the car wouldn't "feel" fast with the auto and was I wrong in thinking that! I only drive the car on the weekends but it really drives pretty good considering everything that it has that is supposedly "unstreetable."

I've been running this setup for a little over a year and the only thing I've done is taken it to the track, ran a baseline run then jetted the carb until I got my best run. It was within 2 jet sizes from the factory so i could have really just set it all up and been just fine. I have taken the car out every weekend that it has been nice and sometimes to work and have never had a problem arise. If there ever is a problem it will be easy to track down now, no sensors to screw the whole package up and alot cleaner looking engine compartment.

Sounds like you have a great combo. I am planning on switching mine to carb in a week or so. I will leave the 306 in it until I can afford a 347. I am planning on putting The Nitrous Works dual stage kit on it, that way I can launch with 100hp, then throw another 100 to it after it hooks.
