Torque Converter

Do you guys know about how much Precision Industries torque converters go for and if they are really worth it? What stall setting should I get with my setup?

Thanks

I have the PI Stallion #6 pump (3200) in mine with my C4 transmission. This is all I can go and make it to the lights at 126 mph. If you hit the lights at a slower mph you might want to go with the #7 pump(3600). They are about $695. Definitely a good converter!

With that cam, your peak torque should be around 4 to 4200? If so, you want your converter to kick in just where your torque starts getting into the fat part of the curve, otherwise you're wasting torque / acceleration. Especially if you consider street use more than occasionally, that probably puts you into a 2500 to 3000 max converter. Precision converters do have a good reputation.
