2001 Roush Stage 1
One of my buddies, a long time rice fan, recently had a change of heart. It first started when he saw my 4-point strut tower brace cost 1/3 of the price of a 2-point brace for his RX-7. The other day, he was driving past a Ford dealership, and a smooth Roush stage1 caught his eye- $24,000 with a fixed 0% financing! He immediately called me and began asking questions about the latest model mustang, and what I knew about this Roush. I told him that this was most likely a base GT with minor mods... but after that, I could only speculate... does anyone know exactly what's included in the Satge 1 package? There's nothing I'd love more than to have one of my best buds invest in a REAL sports car, and ditch the rice burner! Help me sell beauty of a stang!

Stage 1 Roush is a V6 (at least I saw one that was)
Stage 2 is a converted GT. (about 40k as a convertable) Stage 3 has got the works, but is still single overhead cam GT engine. (with goodies of course) I just bought my stang so I was looking very closely at my options. Hope this helps and is not too late. I just double checked my info. The Stage 1 is available in V6 or V8, but from the price you mentioned I'm suspecting V6. From what I saw the Roush is a NICE car, but not a good deal Bang for buck.
