It's not too bad of a swap. If you have all the parts handy, it will be quite easy. The hardest part for me was to install the clutch pedal on the quadrant. That is only because it is located under the dash with minimal working space. Realistically, I would say to plan on a full weekend to finish the swap, including lunch and beer runs. Good luck. Jake

Just don't forget the pilot bearing.

I've done this swap 3 different times. The first time it took 2-3 days but the last time I did it, it only took about 5-7 hours. Count on the clutch pedal swap to take at least an hour and I just swapped the whole bracket. I think that is easier than trying to add the clutch pedal to the automatic bracket. I say go for it! It is definitely worth the time and effort.

The tranny I have is rebuilt. I rebuilt it using the Hanlon Motorsports Master Rebuild Kit. When I bought it it was used but supposed to be good, but it was no where close. I got it in and discovered it needed all new synchros, I drove it for about two days forcing into gear when the lower bearings went out. I ordered the kit, installed it with a buddy and its better than new know. I wrecked the car but still have everything to do a swap but all you need is the tranny right. The tranny only has 6000 miles and no passes. I wrecked the car just before the season was over and never got the chance to take it to the track. Email me man.
