valve cover clearance

would i have enough clearance to run 1.72 roller rockers with a cam with a .512 lift?
on stock valve covers. 91 is the year if needed.

Don't kmow for sure but I highly doubt it. I ran the Ford motorsport "tall" valve covers and I had to remove the baffle.

You will need to grind the baffle out. The 1.7's put a lot of added stress on the drive train it is better to go with a larger cam and stay with 1.6's.

Where do you cruise in MD?
