Urgent Need of a Brake Fix

I know this may not be the right forum for this question but I know you guys are the experts when it comes to Mustangs so I hope you can help. I'm really in a bind

I'm working on a friends 97 6cyl mustang brakes. I've replace both rear calipers and the pads all around. I've bled the hell out of it and have no signs of air in the lines but I can't get a firm pedal. Is ther some special way to bleed these brakes? I started at rear, the fartherst away from the master cyl and worked towards the master cyl. Any ideas as to what's wrong? Also, is the emergency brake (rear disk) self adjusting? If not how do you adjust it?
Thanks,
Paul

Did you plug the brake lines as soon as you disconnected them from the calipers? If not, you probably allowed air to enter the HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit), which is part of the ABS system. If this is what happened, call a tow truck and take it to Ford. You won't be able to bleed the HCU. If you did plug the lines the second you disconnected them, and are sure no air entered the lines, then continue to bleed the brakes until clean brake fluid comes out, at which point the pedal should get firm. If it doesn't, you got air into the HCU, and it's off to Ford you go.

Take care,
-Chris
