tranny fluid ?

I just finished rebuilding my t-5 and was wondering what is the best kind of fluid to put in it. Also is there any additives needed like the rearend fluid?? Any help is appreciated.

The T-5 uses ATF. I recommend fully synthetic. Mobil 1 is a good choice, it's not as $$ as some other brands.

I've heard you can add differential friction modifier to the ATF for more quiet during the winter, but it should be changed out for summer driving, so I'd just leave it out and use only ATF.

but unit, u think if i add friction modifier to my tranny it might quiet down the whine?
it shifts fine, but that whining is annoying as he11 http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/frown.gif
