Grinding Intake for TB install
I am going to install a FMS 65mm Throttle body and I know i will have to grind the opening to the intake for a good fit. How much do i take off. can i just use the gasket and grind it to the edges?

Yes. Put the gasket up against the intake and use a marker or grease pencil to outline the inside of the gasket opening on the intake. Then just use a dremel or die grinder to widen the opening of your intake to match the opening of your tb. Make sure you stuff a rag into the opening of the intake so none of the metal grindings go into your engine and vaccuum and wipe it out thoroughly before you pull out the rag. You DON'T want that stuff going down your intake. I would also suggest wearing eye protection and a dust mask as the particles from the grinding can be a real irritant to your eyes nose and throat. I sprayed my intake down with wd 40 in between rounds of grinding to keep the dust down and prevent too much heat from building up on the surface.
