Pony rim rehab questions...

I have some corrosion marks from lead weights that used to be on the wheel and a few scratches here and there, what's the best way, or is there one, to rehab my Ponys? Can I just sand them down and repaint them or do I have to use some special process? Any help will be appreciated....thanks in advance.

I guess you could sand them down and repaint them. better yet sand blast them and powder coat the wheel. You'll have a better finish.

Any problems sanding aluminum. I think they're aluminum??? Or am I wasting my time and I should buy new pony's? http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/frown.gif

The finish is kinda hard on the factory rims, just look into your cost options, Pony wheels can be had pretty cheap in painted form
