![]() I have an 88 LX 50 I picked up a couple of months ago. It has power door locks and windows. I can control both the power windows from my side but the passenger side can't control their own. Both the power locks don't work. The car was stolen a few years ago and the alarm system was bypassed. I don't know if this makes a difference.
Thanks- Steve |

![]() It's usually the wiring inside the door panel (driver side) that is frayed or broken, making the locks/windows inoperable.
You'll have to remove the panels for both doors and check out the electrical circuits but expect to see broken wiring. That said, the door lock actuators are known to fail and may also need to be replaced - about $50. each. |

![]() Cool- Thanks for the reply. That sounds like something I can handle. My wife is actually going to let me put the car in the garage for a few days to work on the interior.
Thanks again- Steve |
