Default copper head gaskets (pros and cons)

what are they. Once I get the new fuel system and injectors in I am thinking of running the copper gaskets. This car rarely sees the street and if it does it is maybe a 5 mile trip at most!

What are the pros and cons of going with the copper?

thanks,
Ian

I wouldn't run them unless absolutely necessary. I switched to coppers this summer after torching my block and head when the fire ring went between #2 and #3 with regular 1011-2's. The coppers are more work to install and remove because of the spray adhesive that you've got to apply. I wired the block and cut receiver grooves in the heads when I made the switch. I've had the heads off twice to reseal the gaskets when it has started blowing compression into the water jacket. They're pretty finicky IMHO.
