Default Has anyone had this problem

Took the stang out the other day and my B&M Shift kit is not working at all, Any ideas other than changing the fluid and filter I just did that and it didnt help any. The car shifts fine but will not chirp second at all. Its a 84 so there is no vacuum lines. Any help would be great..

i duno bout your case totally, but, i noticed that my b&m had to be "pushed" a lil harder after 6months in the car, to respond the way i thought it should too.. but, @ the strip, i nevr had a loss of et or mph.. so i nevr worried bout it too much.. jus chalked it up to wear...

Are you using the B&M trick shift fluid? Ive heard those shift kits only like the trick shift fluid. Just a thought.
