I don't think that you would get 10 HP on an engine close to stock. The horsepower figures are always inflated.
I have to agree with Skyman - It is alot easier removing the rad. It takes like 2 minutes. You may have to use a hammer on the crank pulley to get it off. I did and beat the living Hell out of the pulley.
