Lots of work, lots of testing and lots of tuning. Everything from suspension to the top of the motor needs to be carefully thought out. You won't get there with ordinary bolt-ons. A balanced and blueprinted bottom end, lightened as much as you dare is key to the high rpms that you'll need. Most of the P/S guys are running some sort of aftermarket computer system too; something like the PMS. Most of your power will be found in the heads & cam combination. Give Ed Curtis a call at Flow Tech Induction systems and he'll set you up with a head & cam combo with the potential.

If I could run half of what the P/S guys are able to run, I think we'd be right down there. We're looking for low elevens this year with an outside chance of some tens. I'd love to be able to run race seats, K-members, larger valves, etc.

Keep in mind though that these are all-out race cars. You won't be able to cut it in P/S with a daily driver.
