Post pvc valve

this is a stupid question... could a pvc valve cause bad transmisson shifts

Cool

No the PVC would not cause transmission issues. If the the valve was bad then your car would not run right. This valve just allows your engine crankcase fumes to be sucked out. Good Luck.

Not a dumb question, but NO is the answer. Also, it's PCV, not PVC. Stands for positive crankcase vacuum or something similar.

How many miles since your last tranny service, when you pull the tranny dipstick is the fluid dark or smell burned. I do a service once a year, but my car goes to test and tune alot.
