99/00 GT Question
Anyone know how much it would cost to get a slightly used 99/left over 00 GT for? Loaded, leather, 5-speed, etc.
Thanks ------------------ 1998 Yellow GT 5-speed Appearance Package Black Hood/Fender stripe 17x9" Wheels FMS 3.73's Steeda Aluminum Pedal Covers |

Someone recently said they paid $23.8K for their 00'GT. Not sure what options they had. I've seen 99's for around $20K (asking price) with average miles. Best idea is to just look around for awhile in dealer ads or private sales.

I live where Mustangs are very rare. The Mazda dealer downtown had a red '99 GT Vert auto for 22k. I went and test drove it. For a car that is supposed to have like 40 more HP than mine factory, it sure felt weaker than mine. I decided to keep mine.
The '99-auto,A/C,CD player. My '96-leather,A/C,Mach 460,key-lock security, power everything,(every option),5%tint all around, and everything listed below. See my link for my stereo system pics. I'm happy with what I have! Like the newwer body style though. ------------------ '96 GT 5-speed,K&N air filter,Roush Cold Air kit,80mm MAF,Mac Cat-Back,Mac Pro Chamber H-Pipe, FMS 3.73's, FMS 70mm TB, Steeda Tri-ax, March U/D pulleys T-Bone's '96 GT |

Hey,
In all fairness, that was a heavy loaded car with the auto that probably runs 14.6-14.7s compared to your car with a stick and mods to remove some of the weaknesses. It's all a matter of perspective. I'm sure if I took you for a ride in my car and then you went back in yours, it would feel slower also. If I were looking for a new Mustang to mod, I would definitely avoid heavy convertibles plus coupes are cheaper. ------------------ 99 Silver GT 4R70W, Borla Cat Back, SHM Slotted Rotors, custom 10.5" ProTorque 3200 stall converter, Transgo Shift kit, Redline Synthetic ATF, Cooler, Bassani X-Pipe, Vortech V2 S-trim, 3.73 gears, 70 mm T/B, Mac Adj. uppers & lowers, ROH ZR6 17X9.5 & 17X8.5 with Nittos, BBK(Walbro) 255 pump & FMS Shorty Headers, D&D Tubular K-member, Coil-overs, A-arms, MM CC plates. Currently running 3.33 pulley at 12-13 psi with AFM powerpipe, but not dynoed yet. Longtubes, Cat-H-pipe, Ported stock heads & SVO Intake are next.
