![]() I am in the middle of a rebuild and noticed my oil pan looks to be painted inside. On closer inspection is really looks like oil burned to a crisp and stuck to the inside of the pan. Is this a common occurance? Or is it really paint?
My other question is about cam timing. I have the cam card and it states the numbers at 4 DEG. advance at the crank. Does that mean I should advance the cam or that 4 DEG is ground into the cam? Thanks
