What is a torque convertor, and a stall convertor? What are their functions and what does it do in correlation to performance?
In automatic tranny cars it is what connect the tranny input shaft to the motor much like a clutch in a standard tranny car.Except is is built with an impeller and fluids flowing across the impeller turns the trannsmission input shaft. A socalled high stall convertor usually has less blades on the impeller or smaller blades so the motor can rev up higher before having enoght force to turn the transmission.

What are traction bars and lift bars, I've heard they replace the control arm setup, is this true? And what is good for performance because i've seen a number of vehicles with either setup.
They are both similiar in what the acomplish but different ways to go about it. A lift bar replaces the lower control arrm and moves the instant center closer to the rear of the car thus making the car appear to lift when it launchs what it is really taking the axle rotation at launch and pushing the tires into the ground. Well the Earth being a much heavier abject than a mustang the excess pushing force lifts the body. Slapper bar also deal with axle wrap up but do not change your instant center.Axle wra[ is generaly considered a bad thing. You go on endlessly about suspionson setups I like one way others like there way you could get a real war started on just this topic.

Does anyone know how the Strange Engineering shocks and struts do compared to the Tokico or Koni brand? They seem cheap for the adjustbility function.
I think not sure though that the strange are drag race only.
The Tokicos and konis are street/road race except for the koni drag shocks.
