Question Quick Q on rear main seal removal (urgent)

It's possible that I may have this done b4 I get a chance to reply here, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

I'm about to pull the old seal and wanted to know if you guys have any safe and effective methods/advice for pulling it (other than drilling or gouging out with a screw driver) without hurting the crank. Don't wanna make a simple job complicated.

I plan to add a little oil to the inner lip and carefully roll the new one in or just tap it in using the old one, so I don't see a problem there, just concerned about getting the old one out cause I have a tendency to get irritated trying to get things out and can get a little overpowered sometimes, thanks.
