![]() What is the compression on a stock 351 w? or where could i find this information?

![]() It all depends on what year the engine is from? Late 60's and early 70's are the best years for higher compression engines.
What year 351 do you have? ------------------ '82 GT 351W C-4,BBK headers,Carter 625 carb,Comp.Cam,Flowmaster exhaust. 1988 GT...T-5,bone stock |

![]() use the 95 351, then you can use hydraulic roller cams like the motorsport E-303

![]() If you are going to add goodies, then you may as well get some nice flat top pistons and get some earlier heads with smaller chambers if you are looking for compression.
I would guess you have about 9:1 with either engine you have stock. You can still make plenty of power with even that much compression.
