![]() sorry about all the questions lately but i am having probelms sliding my tranny back in. we can get it mostly in but we get to a point where it is only about 1/2 ot 1/4 from being completely in and we have done everyhting we can think of to make it go back in so what is your advice and how do i get it in. im trying to complete this right now tonite so i neeed help fast.

![]() Here's a few things to check...
Make sure that your motor is still tilted to the rear. When you take the tranny off, it will drop a little bit. Make sure that the clutch is aligned correctly. If it's not, then you won't get it in. Now this part will sound crazy... while holding it up mostly from the back, pick up the front just a little bit and trun the tranny from the drive shaft end while it is in a gear. What this is suppose to do is align the input shaft with the gear that is in the middle of the clutch. |

![]() this happened to me one time and it was because when i had the clutch alignment tool in and i was tightening it the tool kind of sagged and was not holding the clutch straight up, so i took everything back down and got someone to hold the clutch alignment tool level while i was tightening the clutch bolts and then everything aligned up easy and the tranny went in easy. good luck man
