Default Racing Seats

The Corbeau seats are in! My lousy 13 year old factory seat had seen better days, so I ordered a set of Corbeau TRS's and waited 2 weeks for them to be stitched and viola....much better. Extreme bolster support compared to the factory seats and very strong and sturdy. They do sit a bit taller and with the deep contour, present a slight problem entering and exiting....with no tilt wheel I have to slide my legs between the slightly tight space.

They don't go back quite as much either, which is not perfect for my long legs, but still comfortable....maybe I can flop the bracket adapters around and get at least another 7/8" or so, which doesn't seem like it but when you're talking legroom it makes a big difference.

Over all, I like them...they have very good support and are soft, but stiff..they don' flex around like the worn out factory seats.

Now I need some harnesses......nah, maybe if I make it a track car one day.....

50resto.com

$694

The shipping is free...it adds shipping when you order them, and it looks like they're charging you even after you print your reciept, but they never actually charge the card for shipping just the price of the seats...that is if they still have that special going...

they didn't have any in stock so and I didn't know it until they called me and said that Corbeau was stitching me up a pair and corbeau sent them to me directly which took two weeks, but I didn't really notice because it's not like I needed them to run the car.

BTW, to continue my review....

they have broken in alot, they've sunken in some which helps and the bolsters have conformed to me quite nicely....I'm very comfortable sitting in them.

OH, and with the factory seats, if I got on the gass, a few seconds after letting up I would get a horrible throbbing pain in my lower back....it's gone with the Corbeau's! That is the greatest benefit, right there.
