raidiator hoses
i havent had my car out for about a year and a half and would like to change out my raidiator hoses. I am just curious which ones people perfer? I was thinking of going with the motorsport blue silicone set from jegs or the stainless steel chrome upper and lower hoses. I dont know which ones. Are there any advantages to having one or the other besides the looks? My car is red so the blue might look nice under the hood but the stainless chrome would match my polished engine parts and be overall stronger over time. I have my stock raidiator and everything still in my car.
Any thoughts or ideas on which would be better? I dont take my car to the track and only drive it in the summer. It is more of a hobby car / summer driver than anything. I would like to get it in a few car shows around here next summer as well.

I have the chrome ones. IMO they look better, even though the blue ones look good too. I'd imagine they'd be stronger also. I've heard the chrome will make more heat under the engine though, and they're heavier. Since you don't go to the track, it may not be a big deal. I've seen them both at car shows at Fun Ford Weekend.

We've got the blue goodyear hoses and they look good clean. Bad part is they're very hard to keep clean. I would imagine the chrome hoses are easier to keep clean.

ya that silicon is a pain. Dirt sticks to it very very easy!
