Default Ready for exhaust PLEASE HELP

Ok i have a 93gt 5spd and want an exhaust system my car is basically a weekend warrior but mostly just daily driver I might goto the track once a month but thats it so I was thinkin short headers to save money and time installing and was thinkin about a H pipe cause I love the sound of them what do yall think about a good exhaust combination for a person on a budget would be, please help!?!

Sounds like you know what you want and you arre on the right track. if you don't have emissions in Fl, then go off road H-pipe, or X, it is all a matter of opinion between these two. Go with some equal or unequal length 1 5/8 headers, hooker, BBK, are a couple respective ones. be sure to install the pipe to the headers carefully, and gradually and on a drive on lift perferably, you want to install it while the chassis is under load to reduce shifting and loosening after torquing down the bolts. Use a good quality and thick header gasket. Good luck to you. Oh, Don't order any of it from Excessive!!!LOL

hey usmc302, just wondering if u were the owner of that blue foxbody gt with the police strobe type light on the side, i saw it at bellechase NAS .

notch...yep that's me, without the weld draglites unfortunately. it is in Texas in the garage right now though, going to be in the car show this weekend in Orange. We are driving the hunter green 95 GT with the silver tach in the left hand side of the dash. It says supercharged on the back.
